Products Description

 

The tertiary filter is used to remove suspended solids, colloidal particles, nitrogen, phosphorus, and trace organic matter remaining after biological treatment, ensuring that the effluent meets discharge standards or reuse requirements.

The driving device of each tertiary filter unit consists of a drive motor, gears, and roller support wheels. Each semicircular segment can be easily disassembled and reassembled. The filter screen is made of 316L stainless steel using a special manufacturing process. The drive system operates by transmitting power from the motor to the drive gears.

 

Other Advanced Filtration Equipment

 

Advanced filtration equipment includes quartz sand filters, activated carbon filters, and membrane modules (such as MBR membranes, UF membranes, and RO membranes). Quartz sand filters use quartz sand as the filter medium to intercept suspended solids and colloidal particles in water, reducing effluent turbidity (typically to below 5 NTU). Activated carbon filters utilize the adsorption properties of activated carbon to remove odors, color, and certain dissolved organic matter (such as phenols and pesticide residues). Membrane modules achieve high-precision filtration through their retention characteristics. MBR membranes intercept activated sludge and macromolecular organic matter, reducing effluent turbidity to below 1 NTU. UF (ultrafiltration) membranes remove bacteria and viruses, while RO (reverse osmosis) membranes remove dissolved ions, making them suitable for wastewater reuse applications such as industrial cooling water and municipal miscellaneous uses.

The shell of the tertiary filter is made of 304L stainless steel and includes components such as the water inlet pipe, drum, linkage gear, slewing bearing, seals, and other parts. A sewage collection and discharge tank is installed at the upper end of the drum. All major components are manufactured from 304L stainless steel.

 

Backwash System

 

The backwash system consists of a backwash pump, flushing water pipeline, nozzle system, sewage collection tank, and sewage discharge pipe. Its function is to use filtered water, pressurized by the backwash pump, to spray a high-pressure umbrella-shaped water jet from the outside to the inside of the filter cloth, thereby removing suspended matter accumulated on the inner surface of the filter cloth.

 

Automatic Control System

 

The precision filter system supports both automatic and manual operation modes. The control system is manufactured in accordance with Electrical Manufacturers Association standards, and equipment operation is monitored and controlled based on process design requirements.

The control cabinet enclosure is made of cold-rolled steel plate with a polyester powder-coated surface, providing a protection rating of IP65. The control cabinet is equipped with start/stop buttons, an automatic/manual selector switch, an emergency stop button, and individual equipment start/stop and fault indication. Control and protection circuits are separated, and buttons and indicator lights are properly matched.

 

Advantages

 

Oil-free lubricated bearings are installed at the water inlet. Solid lubricant loss during operation is minimal, the lubricant can self-replenish, and the bearings have high load-bearing capacity. With a water-cooling system, the problem of bearing overheating is effectively eliminated.

 

A gear transmission structure is used at the water outlet, avoiding instability associated with chain drives and reducing maintenance frequency.

 

An external oil-filling structure is adopted for the outlet-side bearings. Operators do not need to enter the equipment room for lubrication, reducing maintenance difficulty and improving ease of use.

 

The drums at both ends are concentric and have undergone precision coaxial machining and repeated dynamic balancing. This design prevents the common problem of drum deformation after long-term operation.

 

Filters of different precisions are provided based on extensive field experience, achieving three core performance indicators simultaneously: high precision, long service life, and no reduction in treatment capacity.

 

The backwash nozzle system adopts an external main nozzle combined with internal auxiliary nozzles, allowing stable operation even under conditions of excessive chemical dosing or high suspended solids concentration. This broadens the applicable water quality range and extends the filter maintenance cycle.

 

Human-centered electronic control logic is adopted. When the water level in the inlet tank becomes excessively high, indicating reduced filter throughput, the bypass valve automatically opens to reduce the risk of filter damage.
