Products Description

 

 

The STP bar screen mainly consists of the following components: the drive device, frame, traction chain, mesh plates with lifting steps, flushing system, and electronic control system. The drive motor is installed on the main shaft at the front of the frame. Driven by the transmission chain, the mesh plates on both sides lift and remove the dirt trapped along their length from bottom to top. When reaching the upper part, through the steering action of the sprocket and under the effect of the top flushing device, the dirt is automatically discharged. The sludge and wash water are collected in the trough between the mesh plates on both sides and then discharged from the machine by gravity.

The drive device of the STP bar screen is located at the top of the frame and consists of a shaft-mounted reducer. Screw-type adjustment devices are installed at the front and rear of the frame to adjust the tension of the transmission chain.

The frame of the internal inflow mesh screen dirt remover is an integral rectangular rigid structure, assembled and welded from stainless steel plates and steel sections. There is a water inlet hole at the lower end facing the water. Guide rails are provided on the front and rear wall panels of the frame.

An internal sludge-collecting tank is also provided at the top, extending outside the machine. The frame is installed at the center of the screen well. The gap between the sides of the frame and the screen well forms the channel for the filtered water to flow out. Diversion baffles are arranged at both sides of the water-facing end of the frame to prevent floating debris from passing through while guiding the flow. The traction sprocket and transmission guide devices are located at the upper and lower parts of both sides of the frame.

The stepped mesh plates are made of ss304. The mesh surface has regularly arranged small holes that allow water to pass while intercepting sewage. The steps intercept larger debris.

The internal inflow mesh screen dirt removal machine is equipped with a reliable mesh flushing system. The medium-pressure flushing system starts and stops simultaneously with the screen, effectively removing most of the debris intercepted by the mesh plates. The high-pressure flushing system removes more stubborn debris and ensures that the mesh holes remain unblocked.

Main structure

 

 

It is mainly composed of the machine main frame, filter plates, internal sludge collection tank, drive device, protective cover, screen cover, screen sludge flushing device, medium/high-pressure flushing water pump, flushing device pipeline filter, pump-to-screen backwashing pipeline, connecting accessories and valves, pressure gauge, double-side guide plates, overload protection device, on-site control cabinet, and other components.

1) Frame and Transmission Device
The structural dimensions of the internal inlet perforated plate-type fine screen are designed to meet the specified civil structure installation requirements. The frame of the plate screen is an integral structure with sufficient strength to withstand the impact of water flow and is easy to lift and install in the concrete channel.

The sealing plates at the water inlet and outlet ends, as well as on both sides of the internal inlet perforated plate fine screen, extend below the top of the channel to ensure overall sealing of the screen and facilitate odor control.

The inner-flow perforated plate fine screen consists of filter plates continuously rotated by a motor and placed within a fixed frame. The driving sprocket is fixed on the drive shaft, which is powered by a motor through a shaft-mounted gearbox. Sewage enters the fine screen through the central opening and is filtered from the inside out through the filter plates on both sides. Solid debris cannot pass through the screen or overflow directly to the back of the unit.

As the filter plates rotate continuously, the solids deposited on the inner side are lifted by the steps on the filter plates to the screen residue discharge area. The solids are then washed into the sludge collection tank by the flushing water at the top of the screen and discharged by gravity.

 

 

2) Filter Screen and Transmission Chain

The frame structure of the inner-flow perforated plate fine screen is equipped with replaceable rolling strips and filter plate guide devices. There are no rotating parts at the bottom of the frame; a wear-resistant semicircular guide rail assists the steering of the filter plates as they rotate at the bottom. The underwater guide device is flat, which effectively prevents entanglement of debris such as screen residue. The guide device is a non-sprocket mechanism.

The roller chain is made of stainless steel sides and rollers, which run on the guide rails in the frame. Sliding between the rollers and guide rails is water-lubricated. Each filter plate is secured to the main chain by bolts on both sides. A screen slag lifting plate is located at the edge of each filter plate, and sealing devices are installed between the filter plates and between the filter plates and the track to ensure the capture efficiency of the equipment.

The drive shaft of the internal inlet perforated plate fine screen has gears at both ends to drive the main chain. The drive shaft is supported at both ends by automatic positioning rolling bearings, which are waterproof, dustproof, and easy to lubricate.

3) Flushing Device

The internal inlet perforated plate screen cleaning machine is equipped with a reliable flushing device. The medium-pressure flushing system starts and stops simultaneously with the screen, effectively removing most of the debris trapped by the filter plates.

The filter plates are cleaned by flushing water sprayed from the injection pipe installed at the top of the screen as they pass the unloading point above the sludge collection tank. The flushing water is directed through a slag guide pipe, which channels the screen residue from the screen chute into the press for processing. The thickness of the slag guide pipe is no less than 1.5 mm. The chute and the slag guide pipe are connected respectively to the internal inlet perforated plate fine screen and the press.

The fine screen is designed with reliable self-cleaning capability, preventing debris entanglement and jamming. No debris accumulates at the bottom to form dead corners. The frame of the perforated plate fine screen is a rectangular stainless steel structure made of stainless steel profiles and plates. The design strength can withstand a dynamic water level difference of more than 1.0 m and a static water level difference of 1.5 m. Even under special conditions, the screen maintains its shape and operating performance.

4) Protection Device

A removable inspection cover is provided on the main frame, with inspection holes and protective plates. An overload protection device is installed.

The equipment includes reliable reinforcement and stabilization measures to ensure it is not damaged by water flow or screen residue under all normal and reasonable working conditions. Under specified operating conditions, the fine screen can operate continuously 24 hours a day.

After processing, all surfaces are treated with anti-corrosion pickling and passivation.

This fine screen is a highly reliable, stable, and efficient mechanical device for pollution removal and filtration, widely used in municipal sewage treatment, water supply treatment, various industrial wastewater treatments, and other solid-liquid separation applications.

During operation, the equipment can continuously and automatically remove solid suspended matter from the filtered water. It can remove floating debris such as wood, branches, and plastic products, as well as suspended matter like hair, fibers, and flocculent soft solids. It is an ideal and efficient pretreatment device for water supply and drainage systems.

The fine screen has been widely applied in sewage treatment, recycled water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, water intake at water supply plants, industrial water intake at power plants, and other fields.
