The main components of the sludge storage tank include a sludge storage hopper, movable doors, an electric push rod, and a control box. The key component is the electric push rod, which is a reciprocating electric drive device. It controls the stroke length through the upper and lower limit switches, thereby enabling the opening and closing of the movable doors.

The sludge storage tank is mainly used in sludge dewatering rooms to collect and store dewatered sludge cake in the hopper. When the sludge reaches a preset volume, the discharge doors at the bottom of the hopper are opened to unload the sludge cake onto a transport vehicle for removal. Two doors are installed at the bottom of the sludge hopper for sludge collection and discharge. These fan-shaped doors are actuated by cylinders or electric push rods.

Application

The sludge storage tank is used for stacking and storing sludge cakes discharged from plate-and-frame filter presses, belt filter presses, centrifugal sludge dewatering machines, and screw-type sludge dewatering machines. It can also be used for storing other particulate and solid materials, facilitating centralized, one-time unloading and transportation.
